Story:
Young Jeeva (Silambarasan) is the grandson of Seema of Theni. When she was five years old, she kills five persons and goes to jail. She comes out of prison turning nastier than before. She is now a hard-core 'dada' and she is feared as well as revered by people in her place, Theni, where she is engaged in all activities which the law forbids. The local police throw up their hands. A police officer, also named Jeeva (Lal), comes down heavily on Seema with all his might and cunningness and finally burns her alive. Meanwhile, a rowdy, also named Jeeva, becomes a thorn in the flesh of police officer Jeeva and he is after his daughter Vedika, who loves Seema's grandson, a tough guy in the college. While Vedika wants to keep the rowdy off her with the help of Seema's grandson, he wants to take revenge on her father for killing his grandmother. How he fulfils his task is the crux of the movie.

" KRISHNA " STORY
After completing M.SC (computers), Krishna (Ravi Teja) wanders around Vijaywada city without any job and falls in love with Sandhya (Trisha) at first sight. Sandhya avoids Krishna initially but soon develops soft corner towards him. She is sister of a builder in Hyderabad (Shayaji Shinde) but she lives with her cousin Bobby (Brahmanandam) in Vijayawada. Now the drama shifts to Hyderabad. Krishna comes to Hyderabad when Sandhya shifts there. A rowdy called Jatka (Mukul Dev) vows that he would marry Sandhya only. The rest of the film is how Krishna takes on Jatka.

Raja(Arshad Warsi)- Suffers from intermittent explosive disorder , hits out at the slightest provocation or even without.
Dr.Mukherjee (Irrfan Khan)-Suffers from obsessive compulsive personality disorder, a perfect doc, clean and orderly, loves to be the captain of the team. Gangadhar (Rajpal Yadav)- Suffers from Schizophrenia, lives in the past with his mates Ghandhiji , Nehru , Tilak and Patel. He is so busy fighting for swaraj that he’s lost his sanity.
Dabboo (Suresh Menon) – Refuses to speak and nobody knows why! Cute and adorable and is everyone’s pet. Their lives revolve around Dr.Sonali (Juhi Chawla) who loves the ‘mad’ bunch .She firmly believes that the only way to treat her patients is to treat them with your heart and not just your mind.
One fine morning, Dr.Sonali decides to take the boys out of the rehab centre to watch a cricket match and eventually she is kidnapped by some men. The series of events that follow reveal how this so called Krazzy bunch unveils the identity of the criminals and rescue their doctor.

KungFu Dunk (2008)
After joining the basketball team, Shi-Jie finds that Li-Li (Lily) whom he had admired for a long time is the sister of Ting Wei (Bo-Lin Chen), the leader of the basketball team. Shi Jie is desperate to draw her attention. Therefore, he attempts to compete with Xiao Lan (By Baron Chen), who is Li-Li’s idol. The competition between Shi Jie and Xiao Lan generates an unstable atmosphere within the team. After Ting Wei counsels Shi Jie, the basketball team becomes more unified. Meanwhile, he helped Shi Jie combine his foundation of Kung-Fu skills into basketball techniques, which in turn brings his skills into full play and helps the team win many rounds of the inter-varsity tournament.

OK, pretty good.
I have been reading a lot of mixed reviews and had to see it. The movie is pretty good. I did like the story and a different take on vampires. The acting was good by most and the effects were OK too. For my taste, I thought it could be more violent and think it is like twilight in a lot of ways. I thought the best part was when the vampire hunter and the police were fighting it out.
I guess for a younger teen, twenties and tween audience it was very good. There have been many vampire movies over the years and some have been exceptional and others not, but this seems to be in the middle somewhere, especially for the young. Nothing great but nothing bad. I give it a 7 out of ten for a family type film. It was worth the watch.
